Cloud Tuning
How do I use Cloud Tuning? (step by step)
Fastest — WhatsApp: send your original .bin/.ori/.hex file to our WhatsApp, tell us the ECU (brand + model) and the services you want (DPF, EGR, AdBlue, DTC OFF, Stage 1…). We process it and send the tuned file back in the chat.
Website — Cloud Vault:
- Log in and open Profile → Cloud Vault.
- Step 1 — choose Job Type: MODULE (DPF / EGR / AdBlue / DTC / IMMO) or TUNING (Stage 1, Stage 1+, Pops & Bangs).
- Step 2 — select your ECU (brand + model, e.g. Bosch EDC17C50).
- Step 3 — pick the services you want (you can select several).
- Upload your original, unmodified file and submit.
- Our system processes it automatically and returns the tuned file in your Vault + email + WhatsApp notification (usually within minutes).
Cost: Emissions and module-off are free in the desktop app 1.0.44; in Cloud Tuning every service costs credits. Performance stages such as Stage 1 and Stage 1+ use tuning credits (1 credit = €20). Always upload the original file, never a cracked or already-modified one.
DTC OFF & Readiness
DTC OFF: when I select DTC OFF and choose the DTCs, do I have to activate readiness also?
Usually no. You only need readiness if the car must pass an OBD/inspection that checks readiness monitors and those monitors won’t complete normally (often when systems like DPF/EGR/SCR are disabled/removed). Otherwise, DTC OFF alone is enough.
Ok, when do I need to activate readiness?
Only when the car must pass an OBD/inspection that checks readiness monitors, and those monitors won’t complete normally because a system is disabled/removed (commonly DPF/EGR/SCR). Otherwise, don’t enable readiness.
Troubleshooting
After the delete the dashboard still asks for a regeneration / still shows "X starts remaining". Did the file fail?
No. Soot and ash load, the regeneration request and the AdBlue inducement countdown are adaptation counters stored in the ECU, not fault codes living in the calibration. The delete stops the system re-triggering them, but it cannot erase a value that is already stored — that needs one reset with a diagnostic tool: soot/ash and the DPF regeneration/replacement adaptation on the engine ECU, and the SCR/AdBlue inducement or remaining-starts reset on the SCR side. Once reset, it does not come back.
Leave every component plugged in, including the AdBlue/SCR control unit — the inducement reset is performed through that module, so unplugging it makes the countdown impossible to clear, and an unplugged part logs live open-circuit faults (P2047-type, U-codes) that put the engine into limp mode. A code still shown as Current after the resets is an open circuit, not a fault in the file: send us a full multi-module scan. An engine-ECU file can never switch off a code generated by a different module.
Do not re-flash your stock file to "fix" it: that undoes the delete. And never write an older base or an older tuned file after a dealer or OTA software update — the calibration mismatch can leave the vehicle unable to start.
After saving, the switches show blue 'ON' again when I reopen the file — is this normal?
- After applying a solution (e.g., DTC OFF / DPF / EGR / AdBlue), you save the file.
- When you reopen the file, some switches appear as blue 'ON' again.
- You assume the modification was not applied successfully.
- This is normal: the interface displays certain switches as 'ON' by default when a file is initially opened.
- This does not mean the modification was reverted. The changes are already embedded in your saved file.
- If you press the same switch a second time, the LOG might not show anything new because the action was already executed during the first save.
- Check the final status in the results area / right-side list: processed modules usually appear as 'OFF' (often in red) when successfully disabled.
- DTCs that are already deleted/processed do not get rewritten as 'new' in the LOG.
- If in doubt, compare 'before/after' using the status area, not just the switch color upon reloading.
- Open the original file, apply the solution, then save.
- Reopen the saved (modified) file.
- Do not rely solely on the blue 'ON' button upon reload (this is just the UI state).
- Check the right-side list/status: already processed items should explicitly show as 'OFF'.
- Confirm the LOG does not add redundant entries if you trigger the same action (since it’s already applied).
- If needed, test on a completely different DTC to see a fresh addition in the LOG.

Installation & Updates
How do I update my software to the latest version?
The software automatically checks for updates upon launch. Alternatively, you can log into your web dashboard and download the full updated archive.
License & Accounts
Can I install the software on multiple computers?
All plans (24-Hour Pass, Monthly and Yearly) are limited to 1 PC at a time. Moving your license to another computer is a one-time PC change (€50).
I reinstalled Windows on the same computer — do I have to pay the €50 PC change?
Yes. Reinstalling or updating only the app on the same computer is free — if the software misbehaves, reinstall the app, not Windows. But formatting the disk or reinstalling the operating system changes the hardware ID (HWID) your licence is bound to, and that counts as a PC change: the one-time €50 re-bind applies.
The HWID we store is an anonymous fingerprint of the machine, not a description of it, so once it changes we cannot tell a reinstalled system apart from a different computer — which is why every change is treated the same way. The full wording is in our Terms and in the Refund Policy.
Do Monthly and Annual plans renew automatically?
Yes. Monthly and Annual plans are subscriptions: they renew automatically on the same day every period until you cancel them. The 24-Hour Pass does not renew — it is a one-off purchase.
We send you a reminder by WhatsApp and email 3 days before every renewal, stating the exact date and amount, so nothing takes you by surprise.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You do it yourself, in one minute, at any time:
- Open your profile and sign in.
- Click Manage Subscription.
- Choose Cancel subscription.
There is no cancellation fee, no notice period and nobody to ask. If you cannot see the button, reply to us on WhatsApp and we will cancel it for you.
If I cancel, do I lose the rest of the month I already paid?
No. Cancelling stops the next payment. Your access stays fully active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and only then does it end.
What cancelling does not do is undo a payment already taken: a period that has started is not refunded (see our Refund Policy).
Can I test the software with my own file before paying?
Yes, and we recommend it. Create a free account, upload your own original read and the app will tell you exactly what it can and cannot do for your file before you spend anything.
If you want to produce and save real flashable files while you evaluate, the Real Software Test (€9.99) gives you 7 days of full access, and it is a subscription: €9.99 for the first 7 days, then Monthly Unlimited starts automatically at €100.99/month unless you cancel — your first monthly invoice is €91.00 because the €9.99 comes off it. Payment card required. Cancel anytime in one click..
Cloud Tuning Pricing
How much does Cloud Tuning cost?
Emissions and module-off are free in the desktop app 1.0.44; in Cloud Tuning every service costs credits.
Performance stages use tuning credits — Stage 1, Stage 1+, Pops & Bangs, Launch Control, E85 and Eco Tune. Credit pricing: 1 credit = 20 €, 5 = 90 €, 10 = 170 €, 20 = 300 €. Only Stage 1 and Stage 1+ are available on Cloud Tuning (no Stage 2 or Stage 3).
Are DPF / EGR / AdBlue / DTC off free?
No. Emissions and module-off are free only in the desktop app 1.0.44. In Cloud Tuning, every service costs tuning credits on every plan (24-Hour Pass, Monthly and Yearly) — you also spend tuning credits on performance stages such as Stage 1 and Stage 1+.
What tuning credits does my plan include?
- Yearly (1009 €/yr) — 10 tuning credits per subscription year (they never expire), 25 files/day, VIP 24/7 support.
- Monthly (100.99 €/mo) — 2 free credits every month, 15 files/day.
- 24-Hour Pass (45.99 €) — unlimited files, and 24 hours of REAL working time — the timer runs only while you are working and pauses when you stop or close the app (closing the app never costs you time). Use your 24 hours across 30 days from your first tune. Perfect for a one-off job.
Existing Monthly/Yearly subscribers who stay subscribed without interruption keep unlimited Cloud Tuning. You can buy more credits any time from Cloud Vault → Buy Credits.
If my Cloud Tuning job fails, am I charged?
No. Emission services are always free, and if a performance-stage job cannot be processed automatically (e.g. the recipe for your specific ECU is not in our catalogue yet), the credits reserved for that job are automatically refunded to your in-account balance.
Refunds are credited as Cloud Tuning balance — not as cash. See our Refund Policy for the full terms.
Compatibility & Requirements
What are the system requirements?
DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition runs on Windows 10/11, macOS, Linux, Android tablets and iPad. An active internet connection is REQUIRED the whole time you use it: it is a Cloud Edition tool, so your files are processed on our servers and your license is verified online — it does not work offline.
My ECU says “not covered yet” or the services are grey. Why?
Coverage is per software version, not per brand. Our solutions are ones that have already been built and tested byte-by-byte against a specific calibration. If your exact software version has not been done yet, the app says so honestly instead of guessing — that protection is what keeps your ECU safe.
It is not an error and not a bug, and it does not mean your car is unsupported. Report it with the 🐞 button: your file goes to the queue and the most-requested versions are added first. Two things make a match impossible, so check them: the read must be a 100% original, full read, and it must be your ECU’s software version.
OBD, BDM, Bootmode — can I mix read and write modes?
No, they are not interchangeable. An OBD read cannot be written by BDM. A BDM read can be written by OBD. Writing a file back in the wrong mode is one of the most common causes of a no-start after flashing.
Also: use genuine professional tools. Cheap clone or counterfeit flashers greatly increase the risk of a bricked ECU, and always keep your ORIGINAL backup before writing anything.
What exactly is an “ORIGINAL file”? Is it the same as a virgin file?
No. “Original” means the original flash/program data read out of that car and that ECU. It does not mean the file is virgin or untouched — a car that was tuned before still gives you its original read today.
For our engine what matters is that the read is complete and unmodified by you: files that were already tuned, or partial / “virtual” reads produced by some tools, will never match a byte-exact solution.
Security & Official Website
Do I risk bricking my ECU?
DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition expertly alters ECU Dump files while protecting the map structures. However, safely writing (flashing) these files back to the ECU is the user's responsibility and relies on the stability of your workshop flashing tools.
