Cloud Tuning
How do I use Cloud Tuning? (step by step)
Fastest — WhatsApp: send your original .bin/.ori/.hex file to our WhatsApp, tell us the ECU (brand + model) and the services you want (DPF, EGR, AdBlue, DTC OFF, Stage 1…). We process it and send the tuned file back in the chat.
Website — Cloud Vault:
- Log in and open Profile → Cloud Vault.
- Step 1 — choose Job Type: MODULE (DPF / EGR / AdBlue / DTC / IMMO) or TUNING (Stage 1, Stage 1+, Pops & Bangs).
- Step 2 — select your ECU (brand + model, e.g. Bosch EDC17C50).
- Step 3 — pick the services you want (you can select several).
- Upload your original, unmodified file and submit.
- Our system processes it automatically and returns the tuned file in your Vault + email + WhatsApp notification (usually within minutes).
Cost: Emission and module-off services (DPF / EGR / AdBlue / DTC off) are FREE on every plan. Performance stages such as Stage 1 and Stage 1+ use tuning credits (1 credit = €20). Existing Monthly/Yearly subscribers who stay subscribed keep unlimited Cloud Tuning. Always upload the original file, never a cracked or already-modified one.
DTC OFF & Readiness
DTC OFF: when I select DTC OFF and choose the DTCs, do I have to activate readiness also?
Usually no. You only need readiness if the car must pass an OBD/inspection that checks readiness monitors and those monitors won’t complete normally (often when systems like DPF/EGR/SCR are disabled/removed). Otherwise, DTC OFF alone is enough.
Ok, when do I need to activate readiness?
Only when the car must pass an OBD/inspection that checks readiness monitors, and those monitors won’t complete normally because a system is disabled/removed (commonly DPF/EGR/SCR). Otherwise, don’t enable readiness.
Troubleshooting
After saving, the switches show blue 'ON' again when I reopen the file — is this normal?
- After applying a solution (e.g., DTC OFF / DPF / EGR / AdBlue), you save the file.
- When you reopen the file, some switches appear as blue 'ON' again.
- You assume the modification was not applied successfully.
- This is normal: the interface displays certain switches as 'ON' by default when a file is initially opened.
- This does not mean the modification was reverted. The changes are already embedded in your saved file.
- If you press the same switch a second time, the LOG might not show anything new because the action was already executed during the first save.
- Check the final status in the results area / right-side list: processed modules usually appear as 'OFF' (often in red) when successfully disabled.
- DTCs that are already deleted/processed do not get rewritten as 'new' in the LOG.
- If in doubt, compare 'before/after' using the status area, not just the switch color upon reloading.
- Open the original file, apply the solution, then save.
- Reopen the saved (modified) file.
- Do not rely solely on the blue 'ON' button upon reload (this is just the UI state).
- Check the right-side list/status: already processed items should explicitly show as 'OFF'.
- Confirm the LOG does not add redundant entries if you trigger the same action (since it’s already applied).
- If needed, test on a completely different DTC to see a fresh addition in the LOG.
Note: Use these functions only for legal use and according to local regulations.
Installation & Updates
How do I update my software to the latest version?
The software automatically checks for updates upon launch. Alternatively, you can log into your web dashboard and download the full updated archive.
License & Accounts
Can I install the software on multiple computers?
All plans (24-Hour Pass, Monthly and Yearly) are limited to 1 PC at a time. Moving your license to another computer is a one-time PC change (€50).
Cloud Tuning Pricing
How much does Cloud Tuning cost?
Emission and module-off services are FREE on every plan: DPF off, EGR off, AdBlue off, DTC off, Lambda, NOX, FLAPS and similar module-disable services cost nothing.
Performance stages use tuning credits — Stage 1, Stage 1+, Pops & Bangs, Launch Control, E85 and Eco Tune. Credit pricing: 1 credit = 20 €, 5 = 90 €, 10 = 170 €, 20 = 300 €. Only Stage 1 and Stage 1+ are available on Cloud Tuning (no Stage 2 or Stage 3).
Are DPF / EGR / AdBlue / DTC off free?
Yes. All emission and module-off services are free on every plan (24-Hour Pass, Monthly and Yearly). You only spend tuning credits on performance stages such as Stage 1 and Stage 1+.
What tuning credits does my plan include?
- Yearly (1009 €/yr) — 20 tuning credits on signup (they never expire) + 4 free credits every month, 25 files/day, VIP 24/7 support.
- Monthly (100.99 €/mo) — 2 free credits every month, 15 files/day.
- 24-Hour Pass (45.99 €) — unlimited files during its 24 hours of cumulative usage; perfect for a single job.
Existing Monthly/Yearly subscribers who stay subscribed without interruption keep unlimited Cloud Tuning. You can buy more credits any time from Cloud Vault → Buy Credits.
If my Cloud Tuning job fails, am I charged?
No. Emission services are always free, and if a performance-stage job cannot be processed automatically (e.g. the recipe for your specific ECU is not in our catalogue yet), the credits reserved for that job are automatically refunded to your in-account balance.
Refunds are credited as Cloud Tuning balance — not as cash. See our Refund Policy for the full terms.
Compatibility & Requirements
What are the system requirements?
DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit). An active internet connection is REQUIRED the whole time you use it: it is a Cloud Edition tool, so your files are processed on our servers and your license is verified online — it does not work offline. Native macOS, Linux and tablet (iPad / Android) versions are coming soon.
Security & Official Website
Do I risk bricking my ECU?
DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition expertly alters ECU Dump files while protecting the map structures. However, safely writing (flashing) these files back to the ECU is the user's responsibility and relies on the stability of your workshop flashing tools.
Is the installer safe? How do I verify it (SHA‑256 checksum)?
Download DaVinci Deluxe · Cloud Edition from your profile. It is a single .exe installer — no ZIP and no password. Right-click it and choose Run as administrator; it sets up everything automatically.
You can verify you downloaded the authentic, unmodified file from our website with its SHA‑256 hash:
